RUBEN MAGENO, TRAINER/CLINIC DIRECTOR
Born and raised in California, Ruben has been a well-known S. California trainer – and competitor - for over 18 years, working with expert horse showmen such as Les Vogt, Greg Ward and Frank Craighead, among others. His love for horses and true talent for teaching others has led him to join the Galles Cutting Horse Training Center, where he heads up the cutting clinic program and oversees the horse training, individual training and performance program for riders of all skill levels. |

TIM SMITH, TRAINER
One of the most recognizable personalities – and trainers – on the West Coast, Tim Smith is also one of the all-time top money earnings in the sport of Cutting. He has won over $3.9 Million in earnings and logged 2 NCHA World Championships and 4 NCHA Reserve World Championships, and is the only person to win over $1 Million in PCCHA approved events. As a member of the NCHA Open Riders Hall of Fame, Tim has won more than 50 Aged Event Championships to date and has conducted clinics in Europe, Canada and the United States. |

SCOTT MARTIN, TRAINER
With winnings well over $1 Million, Scott Martin will be inducted into the Riders Hall of Fame in 2007. For the past 20 years, Scott has been one of the top earners in the NCHA. Since 1984, he has qualified for the small futurity finals every year and has won the NCHA Gelding Stakes, Pacific Coast Futurity, NWCHA Futurity, Washington Futurity 3 times, and many other leading derbys and 5/6 year old events. He has worked with several leading trainers, including Jack and Linda Baker, Dave McGregor, Ronnie Richards, Terry Riddle and Bill Freeman. |

TOM LONG , TRAINER
One of the top ten riders on the West Coast Tom Long has earned just under $2 Million. To that end, he was inducted into the NCHA Riders Hall of Fame in 2005. Tom has won numerous Aged Event and weekend titles, including two world championships. He has been a finalist at all of the major Aged NCHA Events, including most recently two horses in the finals of the 2006 NCHA Futurity with one finishing in the top ten. Tom is considered one of the top Non-Pro and Amateur trainers in the cutting industry. Over the past 11 years his wstudents have earned many major titles, including 2 NCHA Amateur Futurity Championships, NCHA Superstakes and Derby Championships as well as numerous world and PCCHA titles. |

DAVID COSTELLO, TRAINER
Born in Australia, David came to the United States after a successful cutting career. Since moving here permanently, David has earned more than $1 million dollars in the cutting industry. He has been a finalist in about every cutting event on the West Coast and has also won the NCHA Reserve World Champion, World Final Champion, PCCHA Futurity Champion, Canadian Futurity Champion, ICHA Futurity Champion, CCHA Futurity Champion, AZCHA Futurity Champion 3 times, PCCHA Open Champion 3 times and Reserve Champion 2 times, as well as numerous Non-Pro and Amateur Championships. David loves to teach cutting and has trained several Champions himself and also judged just about every major cutting event several times.
